Tool Hack .... any metal wrenches/tools rusty ... well no more thanks to .... beer!

Yes beer ;o) Fill a glass or plastic jug big enough so the wrench or metal tool can stand upright. Fill it to the top with beer. Leave it for the day. Grab it the next day and see all the rust fall to the bottom. Take the item out, get a towel and wipe away any excess. It will be shiny as if you bought it brand new.

Aluminum pots got that black on the bottom and outside?

Grab a potato. Grab salt. Cut the potato in half, vertically so you have the end to grab hold of for each half. Pour salt in a small bowl and dunk the cut side in the salt so it is crusty and only salt shows. Make it a thick layer. Then rub the potato with salt on the out edges and sides and bottom of the pot with pressure. The black will dissipate and dissolve. Wash up and you are done with a clean new outside pot.

Grab an entire head of celery stalks. Chop them into 1 inch cubes. Add to the pot. Add 2 cups of water. Boil on medium to high heat. The black crap will bubble onto and celery and be removed. Then dump all the black garbage and celery pieces into a large bowl. Then wash up your brand now shiny metallic pot!

Sharpie marker on your table or kitchen counter forever .... nope!

Grab your toothpaste. Put a nice amount to cover the sharpie marker writing. Scrub with a cloth and all the sharpie markings will be removed. Well your cloth will look gross so toss it ;o)

Burrito Bowls

Delicious and crunchy burrito bowls in a snap. Take a muffin tin and tortillas. Flip the muffin tin upside down and form the corn tortillas into a pocket bowl between four of the upside down muffin cavities. Bake the tortillas in the oven at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Poof you are done, crispy bowls ready to be filled with your fave burrito fixings, or like me, I eat them warm and they never get filled!

Painting Doors .... and not the doorknobs

Instead of painting the doorknob, or scratching it by taking out the screws, or having difficulty putting it all back together after 20 minutes .... aluminum foil to the rescue again! Line the doorknob with foil completely and squeeze it tight. Then around the round part that is flat agains the door, take a quarter on anything of the kind and push the tin foil right up against the metal so that the door can be painted completely perfectly.

Keep your Toilet Tank Clean of grime, dirt and stains

Over time, dirt, grime, and water stains build-up, which will impact the overall function of your toilet if not addressed. Thankfully, yet again, vinegar provides a solution. Lift the tank cover and simply add vinegar to the water. The vinegar will help to clear out mineral deposits from the inner components, keeping the toilet in pristine condition. Crusty Dirty Pots And Pans With A Dryer Sheet

We all have caked on food and charcoal little bits stuck to pots and pans. Well here is the hack to get them super clean. Soak the dirty dishes with a dryer sheet. Pour warm water into the bottom of the dish and place a dryer sheet on top of the water. Soak for 15 minutes. The longer the better, even leave it soaking overnight. Then clean the dish with a sponge and dishsoap and poof, brand new.

Ice frosting over your mirrors?

All you need are some Ziploc bags. As explained, just open up a few Ziplock bags and slip them over your mirrors. The plastic covering will keep most of the ice and snow from sticking, making those frigid mornings way less frustrating.

This is great. No mess and no work .... and the slicked cake pieces are so easily lifted up you will crack up laughing. Take tongs that you use for the BBQ or for flipping food when you are cooking. Hold each of the ends and place the round edge that connects each tong in the middle of the cake. Push down and the slice of cake will be like the sharpest knife. But it is not over .... squeeze gently the tongs and pull up the slice and place on a plate. No mess, perfectly cut cake, and placed without another utensil on a plate. Its magic.

Scratches On Stainless Appliances

A toothbrush and a little toothpaste will get rid of the scratches that have appeared on your stainless steel appliances. Apply a trace amount of whitening toothpaste to a toothbrush and rub gently in a circular motion, following the grain of the stainless steel over the scratches. Clean the entire area with a damp but not wet microfiber towel, and your scratches with be obsolete.

But ..... flour can help you ripen your avocados in 1 day. When you have an under ripe avocado that you need in a short period of time, place it in a paper bag if you have if not no big deal, then put in a bowl where and cover it completely with flour on your table counter for 24 hours. It will be good to go!

Professional Manicure in a snap

Buy a tube of tootpaste that includes baking soda. Remove any old nail polish. Put a thin layer of toothpaste both on top and under your nails and let it stand for 20 minutes. Then, scrub your fingernails with a toothbrush under a faucet with running warm water. Your nails will now look like you just had a professional manicure.

Remove Color Stains From Tupperware

Red spaghetti stains on your plastic Tupperware? No amount of scrubbing will get rid of the stain. But .... next time you have leftover red sauce staining your plastic container, grab a Magic Eraser from the supermarket or dollar store.
